The last 2 days have I have been in a great mood. Even if I do have a migraine. Yesterday we went to the movies. Had a great time. My husband was off this weekend was nice having him home. He did all the cooking. A nice change for once. Needless to say we had a lot of junk food hamburgers, hot dogs, and pizza. So now it is back to normal food. The weather has been hot for this time of year. I hope it starts to cool off soon. Shouldn't have to use the AC this time of year. Oh well. We are thinking it may be a hot winter if this is anything to go by. I don't care so long as it is a wet one. There is talk of rationing water. Won't that be fun. Still waiting to have the new phone installed. A month ago we had our phone changed to the cable company. They had 2 appointments to come and hook us up and each one they have cancelled. They are supposed to come this Thursday. Hope they do. Will be nice to be able to call home. Has been at least 2 months since I was able to talk to my parents. Not to much else going on. I am happy with the way my life is going. I guess I just needed to get out of the house and spend a lot of time with my husband. That always puts me in a good mood. We spent one day just out doors doing nothing but enjoying nature. Something we both enjoy.

Fat

I don't know why I have bothered looking up some of my school friends. Almost 10 years has passed since I have seen them. All the females look great. Lost weight, are fit and then there is me. While not fat I am not as skinny as I would like to be. I look at pictures of them and then pictures of myself and it just makes me fell fat and old. Well now I know that they are alive and well I won't bother them for another 10 years. At least by then the tables should have evened out. I hope anyway. Husband has the weekend off ,we need to go out and do something. Just the two of us. He has been working hard and I just need to get out of the house.

I got my new stove/oven. It wasn't the one that I wanted. The one I wanted was no longer in stock. All they had was the display one. So I got a nice two toned one. So far I have been tiring to gage the temp on it. It is really nice having a new stove. The old one caught fire while I was cooking and another burner just stopped working. With the holidays right around the corner we were afraid that the oven would go out while I was tiring to cook. Speaking of holidays we have deiced not to do anything with his family. So far every one is blaming all their problems on us. His youngest sister hates us because we pushed her to get a good paying job. His dad hates my husband because he makes more money than him and we are doing better money wise. That and the fact we don't listen to him when it comes to our life. His oldest sister just hates us. Mostly because we don't care about her in anyway. So now on we don't want to much to do with them. At least that is the plan. Not to much else going on. His family has a case of shingles. Good thing we aren't around them. The last thing I need is to be exposed to them while I am tiring to get pregnant. Speaking of tha I have deiced not to worry much about it. If it happens it happens. If not at least we gave it a go. I m giving myself till the end of December then I am going back on the pill. I just don't want to have a kid around the holidays. It is hard to have a birthday around that time. That is about it for this week.

Gas Grill and Friends

Had a good week. Nothing much to write about. My husband decided to buy us a gas grill. So as soon as he gets off work he tells me to get dressed we are going out. We get to the store and we look around at the selection and decide on the one we want. He then decides that we need 2 gas tanks to go with the grill. After looking around he decides to go with just the one. Get the box home open it up and what do we find. An extra gas tank, empty of course. Boy was he happy. Then it started, the some assembly acquired phase. Needless to say I watched while he did all the work. Thank god he is a handy man. After all he is a mechanic at a carpet plant. If I had to put the thing together it would have never happened. So nice having a BBQ thing that I don't have trouble with. Seems that I can't start a fire. So far we have used it almost every day.

Other news. Talked to an old friend today. He was telling me about some people we knew in school. I haven't talked to them in years. Hard to keep up with them when they are half way around the world. They are traveling and having all kinds of life and the high lights in my life are a good movie. I got jealous. Don't get me wrong I have never regretted marring my husband. In many ways he saved me. But sometimes I fell like I am a very boring person. They talk about being in Asia and what not and I talk about a gas grill. As I told this friend I am old, fat, married and tyring to have a kid. What fun is that. He told me at least I am not lonely and have a happy life with some one. That silver lining thing. He is right of course. Good to know even if I am boring I have something more than worth it.
